Lets Go To Tomah and Wisconsin Rapids!

Last Sat. July 30th my sister Sandy, niece Niki and I went road tripping to Tomah and then to Wisconsin Rapids.  Come hitch a ride with us and we'll show you some fantastic prim shops.
Our first stop was at Gatherings by Cranberries'n Such and Barb Daniells is the owner of this fabulous shop. They are open 7 days a week and they are located at 201 Helen Walton Drive, Tomah, WI
This is a must see for the prim lover!
A "Gathering" of needful primitive treasures from a "Simpler Thyme"...
simple charm, simple comforts and simple cozy finds to fill
your home and heart!

This is what you see when you walk in.

So many things to choose from!

Getting ready for fall!
Our next stop is Country Spirit ~ located at 704 Superior Ave, Tomah Wi
Christine is the owner of this wonderful shop.  She carries a mix of  art, antiques, handids, and simply prim. They also have a website ~ www.shopcountryspirit.com

Christine has so many neat items outside that are for sale too!

I love the mix that this store has!
Simply Prim!
Thanks Sandy
(the lovely gal that helped us look for things, she was so much fun!)

My sister Sandy, with our goodies!

This is a new shop to Tomah ~ The Primitive Star
located at 1311 Superior Ave, Tomah, Wi
They carry a lot of handmade primitives and country crafts.
If your looking for some of  Lucy's Lazy Dayz Primitives this is the place that had lots of Lucy's wonderful creations!

So much fun!
My niece Niki with her goodies!
Sorry I didn't get any pictures inside ~ bummer!

Our last stop in Tomah is my favorite place!
The Market Place
Located at 1405 Superior Ave Tomah, WI
Both floors in this place are packed to the brim with everything and anything you can think of.

Soooo much to look at!

So sweet!

I probably went through the store  a couple of times and still didn't see everything!
I would say this is a must see store!

Now our travels take us to Wisconsin Rapids to
Country Freckles
Located at 1010 8th St.
Wisconsin Rapids, WI
The Place....for Prim!
Joni has sooo many things to look at!

So many prim fall items!
I fell in Love with the hutch!

Hey Robin ~ The Cranky Crow
Do you like my new chair???

This is Joni ~ she is the sweetest gal!
We arrived at her store with not a lot of time to shop, Joni stayed open longer just for us.
Thanks Joni!
I will definitely be back ~ so many wonderful prims to look at.
I also follow Joni's blog if you get a chance stop in and say Hi!

I don't know about you but I think I spent enough
and
I'm pooped!

Until next time
I hope your travels take you to some fun and exciting places!

Lets Go To The Outagamie County Fair!

Last Friday July 29th my husband and I took our Granddaughter to the Outagamie County Fair.
Keyarra was going to the fair at night with her parents, but the animals won't be there Grandpa
she says.  Grandpa says well lets go!  So off we went!
(BEWARE! This post is loaded with pictures.)
Hope you enjoy our fun day at the fair!
You have to get stamped to get into the fair ~ Let The Fun Begin!

First stop the animals!
Oops! Not those animals!  I didn't want to be the Bull!

I See You!
This one is my favorite!

Lets Go For A Ride!
Just so you all know ~ I don't like the Ferris wheel!
Grandpa Zeke ~ The Ferris wheel is the only ride he will go on ~ WHY?
Keyarra!
The tilt a whirl ~ my favorite ride!
This one looks like fun!
House of mirrors!
Clown City!

You gotta play games!

A great piece of history!
We had found this ticket in the wall when we remodeled our house.
I love how even your team of horses is included on the ticket!

~ Until next time ~
I hope you all find a little excitement in your life!

Babysitting Bentley

Good Evening Everyone!

Haven't wrote in a while so I thought I let you know what I've been up to the past week ~ I'll break it up into a couple of posts.
Last week my girlfriend Mary and her family went on vacation so I had the pleasure of babysitting her cat Bentley.

Mary lives across the street from me, I just had to go over there and make sure she had fresh water and food every day.  I didn't mind at all ~ I LOVE to go to Mary's house ~ It's so peaceful and she has beautiful eye candy!!!
Here's some pictures and you will see why ~ I would love to have a backyard like this.

Mary's husband Bruce built this out of barn beams.
Bruce is an awesome wood worker ~ I think he can build anything!
Bruce built his shed to look like a log cabin.
The door to get into the shed is on the side ~ such a clever idea!

fish pond ~ with a water fall ~ so peaceful!

Beautiful paths to take you through the flower gardens.

Such pretty eye candy!

Until next time I hope you all find some peace and beauty in your life!

P.S. Next we will be going to the County Fair!
