Bye Dolly

God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be
so he put his arms around you
and whispered "Come to Me"
With tearful eyes we watched you,
we saw you fade away.
Although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Your tired paws now rest.
God broke our hearts
to prove to us
He only takes
the Best.

    Hi Robin, I have been a follower of your blog for a while now and haven't been by to visit. I'm sorry about that. I am truly sorry to hear about Dolly. Your sweet post made me misty eyed. It is so hard isn't it? Just about two weeks ago we had to put our little Princess Downy to sleep. She was having so many problems and the bad moments she had out numbered the good moments. She was 13 years old. My last post was about her. Well just before the mother's day pic. It you stop bye you can see a few photos of her.
