Road Trip Day 3

Well here we are again ~
Day 3 of our road trip was our busiest day ~
We tried to get in as many shops as we could before they all closed!

While we were in Lake Geneva we saw a yard sign that said
 BARN SALE TODAY
I'm game ~ Let's go check it out
I'm always up for an adventure!!!

We put the addy into the GPS and away we went!
We giggled all the way there as we were winding down the country roads
saying watch it be a sale on farm machinery.

We were pleasantly surprised ~

(Don't forget to click on the pics to view them in larger form)

We had a ball at this sale and so glad that we went.
Even the kids of the vendors were selling their wares ~ lemonade, soda pop, candy bars, etc...
It was a very hot and humid day so the lemonade was a welcomed pleasure!!!

We bought a few treasures ~  can you tell what some are from looking at the pics???
But I do wish I would of bought some of those barn board stars!!!
Maybe they can send me some!!!

The men take down old worn out barns and make beautiful furniture out of the reclaimed wood.

We found this Awesome sale at ~
W2644 Loveland Rd.
Elkhorn, WI 53121

For more info visit ~
Heritage Beam and Board

or follow them on facebook ~

Well we better keep moving so much to see ~

Our next stop was at Nooks & Crannys
This was a cute little shop in the quaint town of Delafield.

We better give her a call to let her know we're on our way!!!
While on the phone with Karen she tells me we will be going through a town called Mukwonago as we are heading down highway 83.  There is a shop that we might like to stop at.
Did you say shop???  You bet we'll stop!!!

All three of us had a wonderful time together looking for treasures ~
So much to see in this cute prim shop!!!
The shop keeper Stacy was such a Honey ~

Now we headed to Karen's hometown ~ Burlington

Boy that was a long day ~ I'm pooped

So Excited!!!

Yep ~ I'm jumping with glee!!!
Tomorrow is the big day to a wonderful adventure!!!
My niece Niki and I are packing our bags and going on a 4 day road trip.
We are staying in Wisconsin this year and heading south.
Our first day we are going over to Lodi to visit Carol at Cottage House Primitives and then to Columbus to the antique mall there.  We are also hoping to visit a few shops in Milton. Before heading to our hotel.
We have a whole list of places to visit and some wonderful towns to check out.

No big plans for Friday just seeking out new adventures along the way.

On Sat. we're going to meet Karen from My Colonial Home and she is going to take us to a shop in Rochester.  I'm so excited to meet someone from our blogging group!!!

On Sunday we'll be attending the Elkhorn flea market.

I'll be sure to take lots of pics and blog about our adventures!!!

With that I'll leave you with some beautiful blooms from around our homestead!!!
