Road Trip ~ Treasures!!!

Hello Friends!

Well as I said we're home and it's time to unpack and show you some of the treasures I got on our 4 day adventure.

Some I have found places for ~ Some I have not.
Some were gifts & Some were purchased to re-purpose.

Here's what I found ~ and what you've been waiting to see!

(Don't forget you can click on pic to view in larger form)

There were other treasures that I found ~ but didn't take pics of
like ~ watering cans, gas cans, and pails.
You might have seen them in the van pic on road trip day 4.

But my favorite find was ~

isn't she a beauty???

Oh the stories this bike could tell.
I loved that it still had the blocks on the pedals so the child could reach them.
I remember when my Dad did that for us.

If you see something and you want to know what it is ~ just give me a holler!
I'll email you back as long as your not a no-reply blogger.

Thanks for tagging along on our little adventure!!!
I really enjoyed your company!!!

Until Next Time

Do what you Love

Road Trip Day 2

Hello Friends
Well today we are on day 2 of our wonderful 4 day adventure.

On Friday we didn't do as much shopping ~ we mostly enjoyed the scenery!

Our first stop was at Lauren's Antique & Art Centre in downtown Delavan.
(This was in the town we stayed at)

Don't forget to click on pics to view them in larger form!

Here's some things that caught our eye ~

Our next stop was at Everything Homespun (which is an ongoing flea market & primitive, farmhouse, country shop) just 3 1/2 miles South of Delavan.
The shop was a barn converted into a wonderful prim shop with lots of goodies to be found!
We had a blast in this shop!
I highly recommend stopping at this shop if you are in the area.
You won't be disappointed!!!

After meeting one of the owners I'm sure he would say:
Don't just sit there Like us on Facebook!!!

Our next destination for the day was Lake Geneva.
(My niece hasn't been there and I wanted her to see it)
This is a huge tourist town but the lake area is so Beautiful.
They have a 26 mile walking trail around the lake and some of the property owners take great pride in making it look nice and enjoyable.

Well as you can see in one of the pics the sun is starting to set.
We must call it a day.
