We had a wonderful time just us girls ~
The Antique market was so worth the trip!!!

Let's hit the road and see what its all about ~

We saw a bad accident ~ UPS truck lost control ~ Thank God nobody got hurt.

The traffic was backed upped for miles and I mean miles!!!
We were so glad we weren't going that way.

On Friday we stayed at the Patchwork Quilt Bed & Breakfast in Middlebury Indiana

They had a beautiful barn  ~ where you can have your wedding ceremony.
They were going to have one on Sat. ~ oh I wish I could of stayed.

Loved the outhouse ~ such a perfect touch!

This fireplace was grand!!!

We stopped at the Old Creamery Antiques ~ Middlebury Indiana

Oh I wished I could stay  ~ but I'll be back another day!!!

Sunday we headed to St. Joseph near Benton Harbor MI
We attended Antiques on the Bluff
We were a little disappointed in this show
it has been better in the past.
But I did see this

Don't you think???
I would put it on my new garden shed!!!
It was only ~ $668.00

After the show we headed towards home

We met Krystal from
Freckle Farm Primitives and Antiques

This is what the van looked liked before we shopped
After shopping we had to take everything out of the van and rearrange a bit!
I think we did good!!!

I'm tired lets get home shall we ~
Traffic was horrible at times we were only going 15 mph.
Yuk!!!

Now for the good part ~

What have ya been doing over the summer ~~ Part 2

Hello once again Prim Friends!

Today's post is about ~
One of my favorite summer junkin' shops and finding treasures!

I have to go to this shop at least once during the summer.

For some of you that have followed me for awhile ~ you'll recognize this shop ~ I did a post on it when my friend Vera took me there  ~ The post was called whats behind the yellow door!

Well lets see whats in store behind that yellow door shall we?

I collect oil cans ~ but these were a little pricey for my blood!

I love how they put succulents into vintage finds ~ such a cheap and wonderful idea to beautify your garden!

Need some vintage silverware???

I fell in Love with this coffee grinder ~ my niece wanted it too ~ O.K. I'll keep looking!

Another one of my favorites ~ vintage books & glasses

Love this display!

Wonderful collection for the man in your life or decor for your cabin...

Another of my favorites ~ vintage toys

Aren't these the sweetest???  Their yours for $95.00

My daughter would Love everything in this display ~ she collects vintage hand mirrors
(she's a hairdresser of course!)

I just loved these chairs ~ I picture them around a campfire ~ who doesn't sing around a campfire???

What is it about shoe forms???  They always catch my eye ~ I'm more partial to the wooden ones though.

Wasn't that fun???
Nothing like a fun day of treasure hunting!!!

Here's the treasures I just had to buy!!!

I just had to get some of those succulents ~ isn't that little teacup cute???

Did ya see anything ya liked???
I think I did pretty good for a day!

Speaking of treasure hunting ~ I'm so excited ~ and can't wait to go!!!
Tomorrow morning we're heading to ~
Indiana!!!
My niece Niki ~ My daughter Amanda ~ Sister in-law Gwynn and I are going to the Antique Market there on Sat. then on Sunday we're going to St. Joseph in MI to Antiques on the Bluff.
It's going to be a fun filled weekend ~ just us girls!!!
I hope I find some wonderful prim treasures!!!
Don't worry I'll let ya know!!!
