Still Snowing in WI

Oh my gosh it started snowing lightly yesterday morning and as the day progressed the bigger and harder it started to snow. 

Like being in a snow globe!

 

When I awoke this morning it was still snowing ~ WHAT????

We were only suppose to get 1 - 2 inches of snow!

I just love it when the snow sits on the pine boughs ~ like a Christmas card!

I'm going to stay inside today and work on spring projects until I have to go to work.

Happy 4th of July!!!

America's birthday on the way, is cause for celebration ... Hooray!
Load up the car with food and drink, the kids, the dog, the kitchen sink.

Head to the lake, a day of fun. Play catch, play fetch, soak up the sun.
When evening comes, the drama begins. Uplifted faces, wide-eyed grins.

A burst of fireworks, show's underway ...
Happy Birthday, USA!"

Fireworks, with bright lights and loud noises, but nothing to fear.
Men marching in parades, holding the flag that waves every year.
The 4th of July, a time to remember and celebrate
all that we have, all that we've fought for, and all that we hold dear.

Get your game face on!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Today is the day! Go Pack Go!  The anticipation is mounting. Who is going to win!

We are going to a friends today to watch the Super Bowl Game, at least the first half. We also promised out son we would come over to his house.   We will watch the second half of the game with him.  I usually don't watch many football games I prefer to be creative at that time or watch a good movie.  But I do like to watch the Super Bowl  commercials! Of course today we have to watch the game our beloved team is playing! Go Pack Go! I'm sorry I already said that, but the anticipation get over bearing sometimes it is like waiting for A Primitive Place magazine to arrive in the mail.  Where is it by the way?

Snow Storm Bella!

What a snowy day we had today!  They are calling it Snow Storm Bella.  It started to snow early this morning and quit around supper time.  I hope that is it for a while, my arms are still sore from shoveling last week.  This is what it looked like this morning ~ looking out into our back yard. 

In the distance you can see the covered bridge that crosses over the creek. This is a beautiful walking trail that is behind our house.  I can also see this view from my craft room ~ very pretty in any season.

I went to JoAnn fabrics  yesterday and found some good deals and some fabric for spring projects.

I wish they carried more vintage/prim fabrics in their stores.  Guess I have to make a trip to Primitive Gatherings to find what I'm looking for.

I am going to be having a Giveaway soon!  I said when I reached 25 or more followers I would do one.  Looks like I achieved that today.  Thanks to all that Follow Me~it's great to have friends and know that I am not all alone through this learning experience.    Details will be coming soon!
