I've been here and I've been there!
I've been having so much fun the last couple of weekends finding new places and other fun stuff!
"Caution" This could be a long one!!!
A couple of weekends ago I went to Shawano to the flea market ~ another hot day!
I didn't find much to really talk about, just some stuff for my creative juices, like baby shoes and bobbins.
I took my Granddaugter (gotta start them out young!)
Remember this pig? I think it is following me!
After our fun at the flea market we stopped to have one of these.
How refreshing after a long hot day!!!
Last Sunday I went barn pickin' Yippee!
You have to go down this long winding road.
There it is!
Where to start???
Love this bike!!!
I didn't buy much ~ But I got my eye on some sewing machine tables for next time!
I just got a stool, crock and a milk/creamer bottle.
Yesterday my sister Sandy and I went road tripping.
We went to...
I would have loved to buy one of these beautiful sterling thimbles ~ just a little pricey for me!
After the flea market we went to some of the antique stores in Princeton.
I didn't buy much ~ just a few things!
I found another cool box, some prim towels, red handle whisk, a different kind of bottle for my collection, some spice tins, I was so excited to find some red handled cookie cutters ~ so hard to find.
a cutting board, and some oil cans ~ I've been buying a lot of these lately!
Our journey continues!
Off to Ripon we went and we found this wonderful prim shop!
You will find this wonderful store at 214 Jefferson St. Ripon, WI
Judy Janzen is the owner of this store ~ stop in sometime and say Hi!
This is what I bought at her store!
Then we drove over to Green Lake.
So pretty and peaceful there!
Our last stop for the day was Berlin.
My friend Vera told me about this awesome shop!
I can't wait to see whats behind the yellow door!
Bummer they were closed.
But I just talked to Vera ~ She said " Chuck and I are going this Friday, you wanna go along"
Yippee! You bet I do ~ I want to see whats behind that yellow door ~ I think I'm going to be in prim heaven!!!
Thanks for taking this little journey with me!
Until next time!
I hope you don't have any grey clouds in your day!
Prim Blessings

Holy cr*p Girl....you go more places and do more stuff in a weekend than I get to do all year long!!! Can you see this ugly shade of green I've turned??!! For not finding much in Shawano, your granddaughter is toting a pretty big bag!! And that barn....I WANNA go!!! It was love at first sight when I saw all those pulleys!! EEEEKK!! And I love that stool...I WANT that stool!!! (You don't really have a space for it, now do ya???) ;o) A Simpler Time is definitely on my gotta go to soon list - I've heard so much about it, I gotta see it!! Hmmmm...wonder how far Ripon is from Nod....Love your oil cans too! So handy for crafting, but I just like them grouped as they are too!! Thanks for taking us along - some of us don't get out much anymore! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

it looks like you have soooo much fun. I wish we had shops like that around. I really like that stool. Let us know what is behind the yellow door.
Robin, I love your weekends. Guess I will have to head south sometime and check a few of those places out! My oldest daughter went to Ripon college for a short time, wish I would have found the shop then. Thanks for sharing and I can't wait to see whats behind the yellow door.

Wow Robin! You sure do get around! I'd have to travel 100 miles to find that much fun around here. And that yellow door is soooo enticing . . . hope ya' give us a peek!
You have so many flea market opportunities where you are! I'm jealous! You found some great stuff. I love the cookie cutters and the little stool. Don't you just love the hunt? Glad to see you're training your granddaughter to carry on the tradition!
Oh, wow!! You sure know how to have a good time! I'm so envious! Hey, checked out your site and it looks like you're all ready for Halloween! Love your pumpkins and witches, but your Scotty Annie is my fav of all! Awwww she's so sweet!

Just found your blog through another. Holy cow - wish there was a barn like that for pickin' around here (southcentral KY) but haven't found one yet. Loved coming along on your pokeabout (you know, you just go poking about and see what you can find). May have to visit WI someday!
I am jealous. I don't have such great flea markets and barn sales here in Southern California. We went to the Rose Bowl Flea Market once, and it was so crowded. We couldn't even park, so we just turned around and came home!
Loved your journey and what a long one too!!! You did so much in such a short space of time!!
I have bought a few things online, from Judy @ A Simpler Time, she has some fantastic prims, especially tin lamps but I did like your pumpkins!
GEEEEZE Robin...I wanna hang out with you! LOL! Thanks for sharing your great pics! ~*~Lisa
