The Weather ~

has been something else lately.
You just don't know how to dress.

Yep we had those frigid cold temps ~ -50 with the wind chill ~ brrr....

Then we had those awful rain storms ~
and everything turned into a sheet of ice ~ which I think is the worst!

Yesterday was like a spring day ~ the ice was slowly melting and the roads were clear.
So I went out to find me some treasures.

Look at these beauties I found ~
I've been looking for a pair of vintage shoes~ and they were a good price!!!
I also found these treasures ~
a pair of vintage gloves
and
I love the vintage glass that has my name on it.
My newest item I'm on the hunt for ~ vintage iron sprinklers ~ I found one ~ let the hunt begin!!!

Today when I woke up it was snowing ~

Dolly

Buster

Yep it's still snowing as I'm writing this
I'm so glad we don't have to use one of these ~
Not much has been happening around here.
We got a new refrigerator ~
I Love it!!!
and I took my Christmas creations down in my booth and added some Valentine goodies

What have you been up to???

Until Next Time
Stay Warm
may the roads safely lead you home!!!

Prim Blessings
Robin

Hi Robin, I am cold just looking at your photo's burr, your little furbabies are so cute! Do I ever love your vintage shoes and gloves,
I recently got a pair of vintage shoes and I want an old dress to go with them, but not sure of the kind of dress that was worn with them.
Love all of your vintage treasures, I almost forgot about those sprinklers, I would like to find one also. Love your new fridge. it is beautiful hugs, Lecia

You had me at shoes.... ;o) You know how I love me my old shoes. I do have quite a few pair of women's high tops, but all of them are black....still need to add a pair of brown - but have never found any reasonably priced. Yeah, ain't it some kind of crazy weather though? Seems like it started snowing around Halloween and only quit for the week when it was too dang cold to snow, and the day we had freezing rain....now it's back at it. I thought they said only 1-3" today....Maybe they meant 1-3" per hour.... We have to have at least 6-8" already...and now with the blowing....eeek. Think my favorite pic from this post is the last one...something about those stark trees and lonely roads get me every time. Stay warm and safe my lil' bird friend.... Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

LOVE your finds Robin, those shoes are amazing!! We've had Frankenstein like weather here too, it's now so icy that my hubby spun out his truck in our driveway today, hit a tree and ended up sideways in a snowbank. Took us an hour jockeying with the winch and the ATV to get him out. Spring can make an appearance any day now thanks! Stay warm and hope you don't have to shovel too much more of the white stuff. Love the photos of your pups! Deb
