Road Trip Day 3

Well here we are again ~
Day 3 of our road trip was our busiest day ~
We tried to get in as many shops as we could before they all closed!

While we were in Lake Geneva we saw a yard sign that said
 BARN SALE TODAY
I'm game ~ Let's go check it out
I'm always up for an adventure!!!

We put the addy into the GPS and away we went!
We giggled all the way there as we were winding down the country roads
saying watch it be a sale on farm machinery.

We were pleasantly surprised ~

(Don't forget to click on the pics to view them in larger form)

We had a ball at this sale and so glad that we went.
Even the kids of the vendors were selling their wares ~ lemonade, soda pop, candy bars, etc...
It was a very hot and humid day so the lemonade was a welcomed pleasure!!!

We bought a few treasures ~  can you tell what some are from looking at the pics???
But I do wish I would of bought some of those barn board stars!!!
Maybe they can send me some!!!

The men take down old worn out barns and make beautiful furniture out of the reclaimed wood.

We found this Awesome sale at ~
W2644 Loveland Rd.
Elkhorn, WI 53121

For more info visit ~

Well we better keep moving so much to see ~

Our next stop was at Nooks & Crannys
This was a cute little shop in the quaint town of Delafield.

Now we're suppose to go meet Karen from My Colonial Home ~

We better give her a call to let her know we're on our way!!!
While on the phone with Karen she tells me we will be going through a town called Mukwonago as we are heading down highway 83.  There is a shop that we might like to stop at.
Did you say shop???  You bet we'll stop!!!
Wouldn't You?

Here we are ~ DeJa Vu

Oh my gosh Karen ~ This was the best!!!
I could of stayed here all day!!!
Thank-You for telling us about this Awesome shop!

I think I walked around the shop three times and saw something I didn't see before.

Did anything catch your eye???

You can find this lovely shop at ~

That was a shop that I would defiantly revisit!
We found lots of goodies at this shop!
Thanks Jody for a fun time!

So sad to leave but we have to keep going ~
We're on our way to meet Karen!
We are meeting her at our next stop ~

Which is Finders Keepers ~

It was great meeting Karen ~ she is such a Sweet person ~ I wish you all could meet her!!!
All three of us had a wonderful time together looking for treasures ~
So much to see in this cute prim shop!!!
The shop keeper Stacy was such a Honey ~
because we were running late she kept the shop open an hour longer for us!
Thanks Stacy!!!

This shop was filled to the brim ~ so much to see in every nook & cranny!

Now we headed to Karen's hometown ~ Burlington
for a bite to eat.

After we got done eating we walked around the downtown.
I love towns with the older buildings in them.

Time to head back to the hotel ~

What's better than ending the day with an ice cream cone???

Boy that was a long day ~ I'm pooped

How 'bout you???

Tomorrow we will be attending the Elkhorn flea market!

Until Next Time

Make every moment count

Prim Blessings

Robin,

I am pooped too! You got a lot done in one day. The bags don't move that fast, sadly... LOL... I am going to have to do some research and see if any of this is close to Tomah, that is where we are staying this year. OLM
PS... yes you did see glass candy container collection... another addiction! I have some really unique ones... a iron... a horn... and the lanterns and more... I am a bad girl!

Okay, I am way behind here but holy smokes, what a day! That barn sale alone would have kept me there for days and those shops! How wonderful that you got to meet Karen, she's a very special gal. I'll try and catch up to you on your journey, looking forward to day 4!
